Christmas trees are also accepted at both the Northern and Southern Recycling Centers year-round during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday). The Northern Center is at 601 New Hampshire Ave., Lakewood.  The Southern Center is at 379 Haywood Road, Manahawkin.

Island Beach State Park will collect recycled Christmas trees from 10am to 2pm Jan. 4 in the A23 parking lot -- 8.5 miles from the park.
