The Irons Street parking lot
is a short block from the downtown
via the entertaining historic
walkway next to the Wachovia
Bank.
The County Garage is approximately
3 blocks from the downtown.
Use of the garage works best
for downtown festivals and events
and for splitting an evening
between downtown dining and
events at Toms River South High
School. The garage is also convenient
to the Historic Society Museum

The Sovereign Bank parking
lot was originally for employee
and customer use only. It is
now a mixed use lot, available
to the public, free of charge,
during specific hours seven
days a week. Hours of operation
are 6pm to 2am weekday evenings,
1 pm to 2am Saturday evenings
and all day Sunday until 2am.
The lot will give the public
added parking for several restaurants
and businesses in the vicinity
of Washington Street and Main
Street. The lot may be accessed
via Hyers Street from Washington
Street or from Sheriff Street
off of Hyers Street or Courthouse

METERED PARKING is available
at all of the other areas marked
and in various street areas.
Meters are enforced from 9 a.m.
to 6 p.m. daily except Sundays
and holidays. The parking rates
are as follows:
All muncipal parking lots (except
the Irons St. lot at the southeast
corner of Irons St. and Water
St.):
50-cents per hour, maximum three
hours.
Irons St. Municipal parking
lot (at the southeast corner
of Irons St. and Water St.):
25-cents per two hours
Street meters: 25-cents per
hour
