TOMS RIVER – World Down Syndrome Day 2022, which was marked on March 21, is a global awareness day.
At Washington Street Elementary School, the “Lots of Socks” campaign was enacted to raise awareness of Down Syndrome.
Likewise at High School East, where staff and students also donned “Radiate Kindness” t-shirts to promote inclusivity.
