Food Addicts Anonymous

Food Addicts Anonymous is a 12 step fellowship of men and women who are recovering from addiction to sugar, flour and wheat. We offer hope to suffering food addicts. We are recovering together one day at a time from the biochemical disease of food addiction. No fees or dues, visitors are welcome.

We meet Monday and Thursday 11:00 am in the library of The Presbyterian Church of Toms River 1070 Hooper Ave. Toms River.

The Mothers’ Center of the Jersey Shore helps you make the most out of being a mother! We offer activities and friendship for both moms and their children. We plan a fun filled calendar each month of activities for all ages, including some mom only events! We are a registered non-profit group that serves Ocean County and southern Monmouth County. Families Anonymous Toms River is an international Twelve-Step, self-help program for parents, grandparents, other family & friends concerned about a loved one’s use of mind-altering substances or behavior problems.
Families Anonymous meetings are open to all. No dues or fees are required, and we use first names only at meetings to preserve individual anonymity. Visitors are welcome. Group meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 1528 Church Road, Toms River.

Safe Harbor Outreach Center is located at 600 Atlantic City Blvd. (Rt 9) in Beachwood. Along with a food pantry, we host several support / recovery groups. These groups include help for the separated & divorced (Divorce Care), for those grieving a death (Grief Share) and for people struggling with all types of addictions and compulsions (Checkpoint). Narcotics Anonymous is a welcome addition at our center, meeting here three afternoons a week. Being a ministry of Shore Vineyard Church in Beachwood the center is run solely on donations.
